Ordering

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. Whether you're ordering one sticker kit or outfitting a whole team, there's no minimum quantity required.

Can I create a fully custom design?

It depends on the product. Where available, our online customiser (MySlicy) lets you upload your own photos, logos and text to build a design that's 100% yours, in just a few minutes, no design skills needed. Browse all our 100% customisable products here.

Do you offer custom designs for shops, clubs or teams?

Yes. We work with bike shops, clubs and teams on bespoke designs and small-batch production runs. Get in touch and our team will guide you through the process.

Can I edit or cancel my order after I've placed it?

Because most Slicy products are made to order, we start production quickly after your order is confirmed.
Contact us as soon as possible at contact@slicy-products.com and we'll do what we can, but changes can't always be guaranteed once a design has gone to print.

Where can I find an approved fitter or dealer near me?

Use our dealer locator to find your nearest Slicy dealer for fitting, advice, or in-person purchases.

Integral Protection Kit

What is Integral Protection?

Integral Protection is our custom paint protection film (PPF) kit for bike frames. It's precision-cut to follow your bike's lines and gives an invisible, ultra-resistant shield against stone chips, scratches and abrasion, without altering your frame's design.

What's the film made of?

A high-performance polyurethane film, developed specifically for bikes, 230 microns thick. It's anti-yellowing, UV resistant, self-healing (minor scratches disappear on their own with heat, from the sun or warm water) and non-stick, so mud is less likely to cling to the frame.

Is it a universal or a tailored fit?

Tailored. Each kit is custom-cut by brand, model, size and year of your bike for a precise fit, and comes in Matte or Gloss to match your frame's original finish. If you're after a fit-any-bike option instead, see our Universal kit below.

How much weight does it add to my bike?

- 40 to 70 grams for a full frame kit

- 15 to 20 grams for a full fork kit

Should I choose Matte or Gloss?

Match your frame's finish: Gloss for a shiny, reflective paint job. Matte for a dull, non-reflective one.

Why won't the film work well on an Matte anodized / Sandblasted anodized frame?

Anodised surfaces have a coarsertexture that the adhesive struggles to grip evenly, which tends to trapmoisture and air under the film. That can make the kit harder to apply andleave small bubbles or a milky look once fitted, so we can't guarantee the sameclean finish you'd get on smooth painted frames.

My bike's kit is on your site, but not in my size, what do I do?

That just means we haven't designed that particular frame size yet. For current or recent frames, email us and we'll let you know if a kit is in the pipeline for your size, or use our kit request form. For discontinued frames, we're unlikely to add new sizes.

Should decals go on top of or underneath the Integral Protection kit?

Both work. Placing decals on top means you can swap them out whenever you like without having to remove the kit. Placing them underneath protects the decal itself, but it's a touch less clean visually, since a small air bubble tends to form around the decal's edges.

Why protect my frame?

A few reasons riders choose it:
it protects resale value (a bike with no scuffs sells at full price once the film is removed), it absorbs stone chips and chain slap on the down tube, it stops everyday rubbing from cable housings, knee pads or frame bags, and its hydrophobic surface makes cleaning quicker, since mud and grease don't stick as easily. It's also a lot cheaper than repairing a paint chip or carbon impact at a specialist.

What's included in the kit?

An installation guide with tips,0.5 ml of Slicy Shampoo to ease application, and a degreasing wipe to cleanyour frame beforehand. Installation tools (squeegee, microfibre cloth, spraybottle, heat gun) aren't included by default, you can add our PRO installation kit at checkout if you don't already have them.

What does installation involve?

Work indoors at room temperature (17-27°C). Clean and degrease the bike, remove the wheels, chain and external cable housings, and wash your hands. Fill the spray bottle with 0.5 L water and 1-2 ml of Slicy Shampoo. Apply the patches in order starting from N°1: wet the frame and the adhesive side of the patch, position it (it stays adjustable while wet), then squeegee out the water and air from the centre outwards and wipe away the excess with the microfibre cloth. Press the edges firmly, a few seconds with a hair dryer helps them bond. Leave a 3-5 mm gap between patches. Once finished, keep the bike somewhere warm for 24 hours and don't ride or wash it during that time.

Do you have video instructions, not just the written guide?

Yes, each product page includes an install video alongside the downloadable step-by-step instructions.

How soon can I ride or wash my bike after fitting it?

Leave it to cure for 24 hours in a warm, dry space before riding or washing.

Do I need any special products to clean protected areas?

No,the self-healing, non-stick top coat is designed to shed dirt more easily thanbare paint, so a normal bike wash routine is fine.

Can I remove Integral Protection without damaging my paint?

Yes. Heat the patches with a hair dryer, then peel them off slowly at a 45° angle.

What does the guarantee cover?

Slicy guarantees that the parts supplied conform to the model you ordered. The protection is effective under normal riding conditions (MTB, road, gravel); it doesn't cover damage from extreme impacts or improper installation.

Could fitting or removing the kit affect my bike's own warranty?

Fitting or removing any protection film, ours or a factory-applied one, can sometimes reveal a paint or clear coat issue that was already there but hidden underneath. That kind of issue would fall under your bike manufacturer's own paint warranty, not ours, and installing or removing the film is done at your own responsibility. If you're at all concerned, it's worth checking with your bike's manufacturer before you start.

What if I damage one patch of my kit?

No need to replace the whole kit. Email us your kit reference (brand, model, year, size, finish) and the patch number shown on the product diagram, and we'll help you order just that replacement piece.

How long does it take to fit an Integral Protection kit?

For the frame, plan on 2 to 3 hours if you've done it before, or 3 to 5 hours the first time round. The fork kit is quicker, around 45 minutes to an hour. If you don't feel particularly meticulous or patient, we'd genuinely recommend having it fitted at a Slicy dealer rather than risking the finish.

What if my bike isn't in your Integral Protection catalogue yet?

No panic, we can still help. Fill out our kit request form with your bike's brand, type, model, year, frame size, wheel size, frame material and a photo, plus your contact details, and our team will consider developing a kit for it. We add new references every week, but we can't cover every bike out there.

Can I customise my Integral Protection kit?

Not directly, Integral Protection itself isn't personalisable. If you'd like a custom look on top of it, you can add a Slicy Colors - Universal frame protection kit over your (transparent) Integral Protection kit, some riders combine the two this way.

Do you offer a professional fitting service?

Yes, at our workshop in Annecy. You can book an appointment, or send us your bike and kit by parcel (shipping both ways is at your expense). Frame fitting is €150, fork fitting is €30, and frame + fork together is €180

Universal protection kit

What options do I have if my bike isn't covered by tailored Integral Protection?

Two options, both universal fit rather than cut to your exact model: a transparent Universal kit (same PPF film family as Integral Protection, sold by bike type), or a Colors kit (printed PVC designs, also universal fit). Either covers around 60% of your frame's main exposed areas.

What is the Universal 60% Transparent kit?

It's the same protection film family as Integral Protection, PPF rather than printed, but sold by bike type (Road & Gravel, Hardtail XC, E-Bike, All-Mountain/Enduro/DH) instead of being cut for your exact model. We also offer it as a Frame Protection Roll you cut to size yourself, or as a rubber tape option (Black Gum).

How is it different from Integral Protection?

Integral Protection is tailored precisely to your bike's brand, model and size. The Universal Transparent kit fits a category of bikes rather than one exact model, so it covers less surface overall but works across most bikes in that category.

What the Universal kit is made of?

The same high-performance polyurethane film as Integral Protection: anti-yellowing, UV resistant, self-healing with heat, and non-stick.

What is the Slicy Colors Frame Protection kit?

Our printed universal kit with designs (Wanderer, Raw Brush, Northern Lights, Nebula and others, each with several colourway options). It protects your frame while personalising the look.

What the Colors kit is made of?

A premium PVC film, digitally printed and finished with a protective lamination for UV and scratch resistance. Available in Matte or Gloss, with the same self-healing, non-stick properties as our other protection films.

Will the colours match what I see on screen exactly?

As closely as possible, but expect small differences, screens display colour through light (RGB) while printing uses pigments (CMYK), so slight shade variations are normal and aren't grounds for a complaint. The sharpness of your result also depends on the images you upload, so use high-resolution, well-lit photos rather than screenshots or dark images for the best print quality.

What's included in the Universal kit?

An installation guide with tips, a basic installation squeegee, and a degreasing wipe to clean your frame beforehand. A PRO installation kit is available separately if you'd like the fuller toolset.

How long does it take to fit a universal kit?

Quicker than the Integral Protection range, since it covers less surface: around 45 minutes to 1h30 for the frame kit, and about 20 minutes for the fork kit. As with any wet-application film, if you're not confident doing it yourself, a Slicy dealer can fit it for you.

Custom stickers & decals

What products can I get a custom sticker kit for?

Fork, shock, frame, wheel, mudguard, handguard, DH plate and BMX plate, all precision-cut to fit your specific model.

What are the sticker kits made of?

Premium vinyl with a protective lamination. They're anti-UV, scratch and impact resistant, and available in Gloss or Matte finish. Some designs also come with a chrome foil finish for an extra reflective detail.

Will the colours match what I see on screen exactly?

As closely as possible, but expect small differences. Screens display colour through light (RGB) while printing uses pigments (CMYK), so slight shade variations are normal and aren't a defect. When you pick a branded colour, we match it as accurately as we can.

What's included in the Sticker kit?

All the pre-cut patches for your specific model, an installation cleaning wipe, and a bonus Slicy sticker

Are your sticker kits officially licensed?

Yes, the majority of our sticker kits are made under licence, using the brand's original file. That's your guarantee of quality and authenticity, not a lookalike reproduction.

I'm looking for a certain brand decal that's not on your website, can you print it?

We review requests like this individually, so get in touch and let us know what you're after.

mudguards

What mudguard options do you offer?

Three models: a short front mudguard, a long front mudguard, and a rear mudguard for road use. All three are universal fit, adapting to almost any fork or saddle. Each product page has the exact fitment details (fork compatibility, wheel and tyre sizes) for that specific model.

How do I install it?

Installation is quick with the included zip ties, full step-by-step instructions are on each product page. We'd also recommend protecting your fork legs with one of our transparent protection kits before fitting a front mudguard.

Can I design my own mudguard?

Yes, through MySlicy you can build a fully custom mudguard with your own photos, logos and text, no minimum quantity required.

Tubeless & wheel protection

Why go tubeless in the first place?

Three main reasons riders makethe switch: you'll say goodbye to almost all flats, since sealant instantly plugs small punctures and there's no tube left to pinch; you get more grip andcomfort from running lower pressures; and you save rotational weight on thewheels, which makes the bike feel more responsive.

Do you sell a complete tubeless conversion kit?

Yes, our Tubeless Conversion Kit bundles everything you need: Sticky Loop rim tape, a pair of Rocket Valves, and Banana Smoothy sealant, plus you can often add Smooth foam inserts at a discount at checkout.

How do I set up my wheels tubeless?

Briefly: fit the rim tape (starting opposite the valve hole, overlapping by 10-15cm and pressing out any bubbles), pierce a clean valve hole and fit the valve by hand-tightening the outer nut, fit the tyre with the Smooth insert running around the rim like an inner tube, inject your sealant dose through the valve once the valve core is removed, then inflate quickly with a floor pump or compressor to seat the beads (loud pops are normal) and spin/shake the wheel to spread the sealant evenly. Full step-by-step instructions are available to download on the product page.

What makes Slicy Banana Smoothy different from other sealants?

It's ammonia-free, so no harsh chemical smell, just a light banana scent, and it's made with nano rubber particles from recycled tyres for extra sealing power

What size holes can it seal?

Up to 6 mm, and it alsowaterproofs porous tyre casings.

Is it suitable for road, gravel and e-bikes as well as MTB?

Yes,Banana Smoothy works across Road, Gravel, XC, Enduro and E-bike setups.

How much sealant should I use?

It depends on your bike type:

  • - 50 ml for road
  • - 75 ml for gravel
  • - 100 ml for XC
  • - 130 ml for enduro
  • - 150 ml for e-bikes.
Is it messy or corrosive if it gets on my rims or hands?

No, it's non-corrosive and easy to wash off with water.

What is Smooth Tyre Insert, and what does it do?

A tyre insert made from high-density, dual-density closed-cell EVA foam that sits between your rim and tyre. It cushions impacts, protects your rim, and helps prevent pinch flats, so you can also run lower tyre pressures for extra grip and comfort.

What are the specs of the Smooth Tyre insert?

About 150g in 29", 15mm thick, for tyres from 2.3" to 2.6" and rims from 25 to 35mm. The honeycomb finish helps sealant circulate rather than stick to the foam.

How do I fit it, and does it need a special valve?

Cut it to size for your wheel (29" needs no cutting, 27.5" is trimmed down), then fit it inside the tyre much like a regular inner tube before adding your usual dose of sealant. The centre channel keeps air and sealant flowing freely, so no special valve is required.

Does the Smooth foam soak up the sealant?

No. It's a closed-cell, sealant-proof EVA foam, so it won't absorb your sealant or add weight over time the way an open-cell foam would.

What makes the Rocket Valve different from a standard tubeless valve?

It's CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium with a built-in valve-core-remover cap, so there's no more hunting for a separate tool, and a multidirectional air outlet that's ideal for use with inserts or anti-pinch foam. It tightens with a 4mm Allen key via a 6-sided hex socket for a really solid seal.

What sizes and what's included with the Rocket Valves?

45mm and 70mm, covering both MTB and road wheels. Sold in pairs at 12g total, with 3 pairs of base seals included.

What is Sticky Loop, and why would I need it?

It's our tubeless rim tape, used to seal the spoke bed of your rim so it holds air. Made from a next-generation, slightly stretchy polyester film that applies evenly without bubbles, with an ultra-strong adhesive that won't peel over time and high resistance to spoke nipples poking through. An exclusive sealing patch is included to finish the tape end cleanly.

What widths and lengths does the Sticky Loop Rim Tape come in?

Five widths to match your rim's internal width: 23mm (21-23mm), 26mm (24-26mm), 29mm (27-29mm), 31mm (29-31mm) and 36mm (32-36mm), available in 9m or 50m rolls. Suitable for MTB, Gravel and Road wheels.
